“Then let’s make earrings, clip-ons, necklaces, rings, and bracelets with lapis lazuli.
Oh—and hairpins or hair accessories would be nice too.
Also, brooches, ear cuffs, and ear hooks—
could you make those too?”

Lapis tilted her head curiously.

Ruri showed them a picture on her screen and explained.
“That’s interesting. So such things exist too.
I bet they’d be popular even here in the kingdom,”
Alec said, eyes glued to the image.
“What other kinds of accessories do people wear in your world?”
asked Zakuro, also intrigued.
“Glasses chains are pretty popular too.”
“Glasses?”
The fairies tilted their heads again.
Ah, right. Since no one in this country gets sick,
there must be no nearsightedness or farsightedness either…
Ruri tilted her own head, realizing that.
“I have a mild case of presbyopia, so I own a pair.
Here—these are glasses.”
She placed them on the table.
“What a strangely shaped object.

Litia picked them up and examined them curiously.
“They’re tools that help people with poor eyesight see clearly,”
Ruri explained, putting them on her face.

so I use them only when reading small letters.
For people who are nearsighted or farsighted,
wearing glasses makes objects appear sharp and clear.”
The fairies all nodded, clearly impressed.

let’s make some using rose quartz, crystal, aquamarine,
onyx, citrine, tourmaline, moonstone,
labradorite, fluorite, and garnet.
We’ll create a few pieces and see how they sell.
