Synopsis
In order to take revenge, Irain fought in the war under the name “Esi Ahil.”
After saving Emperor Killian and becoming a war hero, she proposed an open-ended game of hide-and-seek to escape from him.
“Starting at midnight, please come find me. If you do find me, I will do whatever Your Majesty wishes.”
Killian had no intention of ever letting Esi go, so her proposal was also an opportunity for him.
“I accept your proposal. Try to run.”
And then, ten minutes after Esi left—at midnight—she vanished without a trace. No one ever saw her again.
Four years later, Irain, now living as Countess Chaint, comes face to face with Killian…
