Chapter : 25
Capitalist Streaming of a Rice-Farming Hero
The Constellation’s Game [Laika]
[You have defeated the Abyssal Dark Wraith, “Miarenn.”]
[You have escaped the Trench of Silence.]
Viiiiing—!
With a cheerful notification sound, a pure white radiance burst out around Leo.
[You have completed the quest “Voyager of the Sky.”]
[Choice: Voyager’s Sword]
[Calculating quest results.]
As he checked the quest completion message, Leo breathed heavily—but his face was full of excitement.
[Selecting a class suitable for the player.]
[3… 2… 1…]
Among players, the first job-change quest—also called the “First Gate.”
Normally, it takes five to ten tries to clear it… yet Leo had finished it in a single attempt.
It was only natural that his chest swelled with exhilaration.
‘At this level… my talent isn’t bad after all, right?’
To be honest, Leo had been feeling a bit discouraged lately.
Ever since he started playing with Dave, he couldn’t help but doubt his own abilities.
The more they fought together, the more he felt an invisible wall.
What Leo sensed from Dave was a gap in talent—one that couldn’t be overcome through effort alone.
‘Hyung says his talent is nothing special… but…’
If only Dave had bragged a little, maybe Leo wouldn’t have felt so inferior.
He could have just written him off as an out-of-spec player and moved on.
But Dave constantly called himself talentless—and unbelievably, he meant it.
Listening to that… it would’ve been stranger not to feel inferior.
— If even this guy has no talent… then what am I?
— And I’ve been running around saying I’ll become a ranker…
As those thoughts piled up, his confidence inevitably dropped.
‘But now I’m sure. Hyung is just insanely talented.’
Leo wasn’t stupid. Over time, he realized Dave’s words were just humility—well… maybe.
And that made Leo respect him even more.
If he’d never met Dave…
he probably would’ve continued bragging about becoming a ranker despite mediocre skills.
‘Meeting him was really lucky.’
And Dave was generous too.
He freely shared high-level information other players would hide, and often gave Leo swordsmanship advice so he could grow.
— “You should’ve gone in more boldly there.”
— “See? Because you hesitated, the enemy’s attack range widened.”
— “So in moments like this, just slash—quick and clean. Got it?”
— “No need to retreat.”
For Dave, it was just nagging to shave a minute off the clear time.
But to Leo… those words felt like invaluable lessons.
‘If I just follow his advice… I’ll at least be able to stand on my own.’
He no longer even dreamed of becoming a ranker.
That world was for players with talent at least on Dave’s level.
So he decided to simply follow in Dave’s shadow.
Falling too far behind in levels and losing the chance to adventure together… that would be sad.
[Calculation complete.]
As Leo was lost in thought, new messages appeared.
[Conditions satisfied.]
[First Job Advancement successful.]
Heart pounding, Leo checked the results window and clenched his fist.
[Advancement Class: Tempest Blader]
‘Tempest Blader…? Just like hyung predicted?’
As expected of him.
Dave even knew hidden class information that couldn’t be found in Awakener communities—and shared it freely.
[You receive job advancement stats.]
[These stats will disappear if you change to another class.]
[Attack Power +35%]
[Speed +50%]
[All Stats +20%]
[Critical Chance +15%]
‘Is this… for real?’
He’d heard that normal sword classes only gained about +20% all stats and +15% attack power…
Seeing such absurd bonus stats made his respect for Dave grow even more.
[You have learned the class-exclusive active skill “Tempest Slash.”]
[You have learned the class-exclusive active skill “Spinning Cut.”]
[You have learned the class-exclusive passive skill “Power of the Wind.”]
“Ghh…!”
He wanted to run straight to a hunting ground and start swinging his sword.
Just then, Lumiel approached him.
“Congratulations. You have become a true voyager.”
“Thank you.”
“Someday, when you return… I hope the sincerity within that blade still shines the same.”
As Lumiel finished speaking, a pale blue current flowed from his fingertips.
The light wove through space like silk, and Leo’s vision turned white again.
A moment later—
Ding!
[The “Ark of the Sky” has docked at the “Alterion Continent.”]
Leo had finally arrived on the continent.

The Seeker’s Altar quest I’m currently doing is divided into roughly three phases.
The first phase is Survival.
Here at the “Plain of the Forgotten,” the entrance to the Pilgrim’s Ruins, you just need to survive against endlessly spawning monsters.
Until when?
Until this “Compass” item drops.
Ding!
[You dealt a critical blow to “Prism Hound”!]
[You have successfully defeated “Prism Hound”!]
[You obtained the item “Compass of Light.”]
Usually, if the drop rates screw you over, you lose a ton of time here…
But getting it in about 30 minutes? Not bad today.
└ Oh, that must be the compass the streamer mentioned.
└ Looks like an artifact… but since it’s a quest item, you can’t take it out, right?
The reason this counts as Phase 1 is simple.
You need it to reach the second area—the Valley of Silence.
Compass of Light
Category: Quest Item
Level Restriction: Cannot equip
Grade: Legendary
Tier: —
Durability: 10 / 10
Effects while possessed:
All stats +1
“A compass that guides pilgrims with light.
The Compass of Light knows the answer.”
The item description sounds mysterious, but basically it just means: follow the needle.
I already know this, but… the golden compass always points toward the final destination—the Seeker’s Altar.
And since the field is designed so you must pass through the Valley of Silence to get there…
following the needle solves everything naturally.
‘It’s the only friendly object in this horribly unfriendly quest.’
└ But streamer… couldn’t you skip farming this? It’s not a system requirement. If you know the path, couldn’t you just go?
A sharp question from a constellation—but I immediately shook my head.
Sadly, no.
If that worked, I would’ve skipped Phase 1 the moment I finished farming.
Whoever designed the Pilgrim’s Ruins made it nearly impossible to memorize the layout.
This insane RNG field rearranges all structures every time you enter.
From farming items to initial quest rewards—
almost everything is random.
That’s why the Seeker’s Altar is basically a gacha-obsessed quest.
“So yeah, guys—you need this to move to the next phase. Got it?”
After my helpful explanation, the constellations reacted positively.
└ Nice, clean explanation.
└ So if we listen to this lecture, we can do it like you too?
└ Yeah right;;
└ Forget reaching ■■■… even if you sent me back there, I couldn’t do it.
└ Seriously, the difficulty is hell… I’d have quit before Phase 1 ended;;
For some reason, the constellations really love my hidden info.
Not like they can use it right now…
but as long as I don’t reveal everything, there’s no reason not to use my knowledge.
Why?
Because it makes money.
[“Collector of Grief” donated 10 LP.]
[“Ghost of the Forgotten Tutorial” donated 15 LP.]
That’s probably why my viewers keep growing.
Hmm…
What do people who aren’t even players do with game info?
‘Guess I’ll find out eventually.’
Anyway, once you get the compass and reach the Valley of Silence, Phase 2 begins.
And Phase 2 has a very simple keyword:
Breakthrough.
Kuuuung— Kuguuung—!
The key is to sprint through those towering rocky canyons as fast as possible.
“Alright, guys—we’re speeding through here!”
└ What kind of phase is this?
“Just dodge and run. That’s it.”
└ …?
└ What does that even—?
Sure, the canyon is full of nasty traps and annoying monsters called “Ruins Wraiths” firing from afar…
But for me, this is the easiest phase.
Which means—
“Here, just duck slightly to dodge!”
Fiiing—
Swoooosh—!!
“And from here on, don’t step on the ground.”
Kuguuung—!
“Because it collapses like this.”
The trap patterns in the Valley of Silence are the only non-RNG part of this quest.
So just let your body remember.
Tap— Tadadak—!
Run on instinct, and you’ll clear it.
└ Professor;; the pace is too fast;;;
└ LOL just dodge everything and runㅋㅋㅋ
After about ten minutes—
Ding!
Finally, the system message I’d been waiting for appeared.
[The Silent Mist has lifted.]
[You are granted entry to the Hall of Truth.]
The final Phase 3 had opened.
[You may now choose one of three paths.]
[1. Path of Courage]
[2. Path of Wisdom]
[3. Path of Conviction]
[Upon which path does the truth you seek lie?]
It’s similar to the five choices in the Voyager of the Sky quest.
It doesn’t outright determine your class direction like equipment choices…
but it does influence the probability when the final class gacha happens.
But—
[Choice canceled.]
[You selected no path.]
Unlike the Voyager quest… here you can choose nothing.
“So, Golden Master… this is what you wanted, right?”
So yeah, Golden Master hyung.
Maybe it’s about time you topped up that LP donation for me?
