~ Chapter : 2 ~
His voice was exactly the same as the one she’d heard yesterday. There wasn’t a trace of drowsiness in it.
He really was awake. Lytia bit her lip.
The moment she lowered her gaze slightly, her face flushed bright red. Then, like a thief caught fleeing, she closed her mouth, averted her eyes, and pointlessly yanked the blanket to cover herself.
Last night might have been one thing, but now, stone-cold sober, rubbing their bare bodies together was, for Lytia at least, akin to madness.
“Umm…”
Yet the man seemed completely unabashed, even tilting his head to persistently follow Lytia’s evasive gaze.
“Hm? What did you say? Tell me.”
Urged on, Lytia gave up on escaping, closed her eyes, and forced her mouth open with difficulty.
“…You’re too close. Could you move away a little?”
Instead of moving away, she heard a soft, chuckling laugh. Lytia frowned and opened her eyes again, only to find he had gotten even closer, so near their noses almost touched, and she could feel his breath.
The tips of their noses touched, and a startled Lytia tried to push herself backward with force. But it only seemed to bury her deeper into the pillow.
“…Last night, you were the one who told me to come closer.”
“That was…!”
“Hmm, you’re surely not trying to run away now, are you? Where did you plan to go?”
“……”
“It’s not that you’re leaving because you didn’t like it, right? You said you liked me. You should have liked it even more the second time. What did you say again? Oh, or perhaps you don’t remember?”
At his brazen words, Lytia immediately raised her hand and clapped it over his mouth.
“D-don’t.”
Because all the memories from last night came flooding back, she remembered exactly what that ‘second time’ referred to. Calling him pretty, telling him to come closer, saying things about his lips… No matter how drunk she was, her mouth had been far too reckless.
The man chuckled against her palm.
“Hmm?”
The muffled sound of his voice vibrated against her hand. It tickled, making her twitch, but Lytia kept her hand firmly in place.
“I said don’t talk!”
Lytia shouted, her hand still covering his mouth. This was absolutely not part of the plan. In an instant, everything had gone awry.
Really, really, this wasn’t how it was supposed to go…
Lytia squeezed her eyes shut tightly. The memory of the day she first opened her eyes in this body flashed through her mind.
