Chapter – 51
It was a hot day.
I kept listening to YouTube all the time.
What’s with a 4,500 yen drop followed by a 3,400 yen rise?
It went as I predicted, and I thought that even if U.S. stocks went up today, Japanese stocks would fall, so I increased my bear position.
Right now, futures are dropping, so I should be making a profit.
Friday is SQ day, and it’s not impossible that we could break below 30,000 yen at this rate.
The market won’t recover that easily.
The U.S. recession hasn’t happened yet, and even if Nvidia reports stellar earnings, the stock will likely be sold off due to the “good news already priced in” effect.
There won’t be any further rise unless the market purges its excesses.
Energy is required.
Because I did some irregular trades and partial redemptions, the calculations don’t add up.
I thought there would be a rebound today, but it’s hard to tell.
I feel like the settlement date is off by a day.
I thought I had taken profits on my bull stocks, but it seems they were calculated at the previous day’s closing price.
I’ll need to be more careful from now on.
Since I only started investing this year, mistakes like this happen.
The reason was that the partial redemption I made caused the unit price to be off.
The transaction amount itself was fine.
I somehow survived consecutive volatile market days with a 200,000 yen profit.
And this is despite having cut losses on U.S. stocks.
Effectively, I erased losses of over 1 million yen.
Not bad at all.
I messed up a settlement with Matsui Securities, but I’ll be careful going forward.
I just need to avoid day trading.
Mutual funds are difficult, but perhaps that will help me stay calm.
No, maybe I can handle day trading.
But I should stop doing partial redemptions.
It feels unpleasant.
