The quest window raised too many suspicious red flags.
First, the flashing black message beside the window:
Warning.
If the main quest is not completed within the time limit, the player may be eliminated.

“Eliminated?”
There had been a “deletion” warning in the tutorial quest, and now another threatening message?
Interpreted optimistically, it could mean a forced logout that would send Elysia back to her original world.
But no matter how she looked at it, that ominous flashing didn’t feel like a good sign.
“It’s like saying, ‘If you fail the quest, you die.’”
It was a common trope in games, novels, and movies: failure equals death.
“Why are there such conditions in the first place?”
No legitimate game company would create something this dangerous. Elysia immediately looked for the customer support chat window.
“I’ll just ask again.”
It would be fastest to ask the administrator directly.
“Admin? Mr. Admin? Where did you go? Am I going to die if I don’t clear this too?”
Now that she thought about it, the administrator hadn’t sent a message in a while. A bad feeling crept over Elysia, and when she finally opened the customer support window:
Customer support hours have ended.
Support hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Only that line was written in the chat.
“What?!”
Elysia turned to her viewers with a bewildered expression.
“What time is it on Earth right now, guys?”
?? Morning, obviously..?
Current time: 10:17:34 AM, today, +0 hours
Her commitment to the bit is real, LOL
Haha the game time and real time are the same!
“But why isn’t support working?”
Elysia tapped on the notification window with a dumbfounded face.
“Excuse me! I know it’s business hours! Why aren’t you answering?!”
Then, a new message popped up with a cheery ping.
Customer support is temporarily closed due to personal reasons ㅠ.ㅠ
“What?!”
The timing of that message was far too suspicious. As if in direct reply, the pop-up made Elysia scowl fiercely.
“You’re watching all this, aren’t you, Mr. Admin? Hello?! How could you leave me in this situation and run away?!”
Unlike Elysia, who was furious, the chat was having a blast.

They all thought it was just a game gimmick.
In a normal game, the words “player elimination” wouldn’t be scary. People would just think, “Wow, no save feature? That’s brutal. If I get a game over, I’ll just quit.”
But for Elysia, this wasn’t just a game.
“Eliminating the player… until I know what that actually means, I need to be careful.”
So it was safest to clear the quest first.

Originally, Remegol didn’t start with affection—it started with interest. If the characters had no prior relationship, you had to spark interest before affection could even become an option.
In other words, hitting 100% interest was step one.
The goal was to at least make them curious enough to want to get closer to her.
“That shouldn’t be too hard.”
It wasn’t affection—just 50% interest. That sounded doable.
But…

Surely, the characters had some level of base interest in her. Even negative attention was still attention.
Besides, she had exchanged letters and even made a date with the crown prince. He might at least have some human curiosity about her.

So she needed to raise a total of 100% interest in 7 days? Was that even possible?
“It’s hard enough raising 10% a day…”
You had to give gifts and chat all day just to raise a few percentage points. And this was just interest—raising affection would be exponentially harder later on.
But that’s not even your biggest problem

That was right. Elysia had just been grounded by the duke. She wasn’t even allowed to leave her room, let alone meet the male leads. At this rate, she’d spend the week locked away and end up with a bad ending!
“Sigh… I just wanted to relax in my room, but I can’t even do that now?”
She had planned to stay in her room and quietly build her dream… no, her business. But now it was all ruined. Elysia gazed longingly toward the duke’s office.
“I was… really trying to be a good daughter, Father.”
She had genuinely wanted to behave, avoid the crown prince, and return home quietly.
She had meant every word she’d proudly declared in the dining hall.
She even felt a bit responsible… and a little guilty.
“But… what can I do if the world doesn’t cooperate?”
It just wasn’t working.
With a sigh, she raised her head, her face set with resolve.
“There’s only one answer after all.”

Indeed. Elysia’s wistful gaze fell on the large, beautiful window taking up one side of the room.
“Yes, that’s what you think it is. The only option left is to run away! Even if Father says no—what choice do I have?! I have to survive! First stop: the palace! Time to visit the crown prince!”
With a bright smile, Elysia opened her wardrobe.
“I was planning on becoming a mercenary anyway—consider this a dry run, Father!”

It’s been less than an hour since she promised her dad!

“If I can just get out, I should be able to meet him somehow. We did have a date set. Even if it was canceled, I can at least try to sneak into—no, visit the palace.”
She started pulling out clothes—not flashy dresses, but light, plain outfits she could move in.
She even packed a cloth she could use as a mask.
“It’s daytime, so the guards will be alert. I’ll sneak out tonight instead!”
Her resolve, it seemed, wasn’t about to falter.
That Night
“Everyone, it’s finally nighttime.”
Why does she sound excited lol

“Well, you won’t know unless you try, right?”
If the palace didn’t work out, she’d find another male lead. Anything was better than nothing. But first, she had to get out of this house.
Elysia approached the window leisurely. A cool night breeze drifted in.
“For any noble lady, jumping out a window like this would be madness.”
Her room was on the third floor. But Elysia had a secret weapon. She spoke with solemn resolve:
“I still have 50 million HP.”
She didn’t die from poison—no way she’d die from a window jump.
‘And I’ve practiced my falling techniques…’
Back when she tried to act cool like Seiros, she’d learned proper falling rolls. It wasn’t a skill—it was a real ability. It might just come in handy now.
“Well then, no need for words—let’s do this!”
She boldly jumped.

Elysia landed silently on the lawn and took a breath.
The most important thing now was to get out of the back garden without being seen. The maids weren’t keeping watch tonight. Even the landing had gone quietly and cleanly.
‘My body’s in better shape than I expected.’
Thanks to her high stats in stamina and agility, even a fall from this height didn’t hurt. Her strength and flexibility felt vastly improved from her real body.
“Now, which way should I leave the estate?”
She looked around cautiously. The main gate led straight to the road and then to the palace—but…
‘Too many guards.’
The front gate of the duke’s house was extremely well-guarded. She’d get caught for sure.
‘Then the only option is… the garden path.’
She turned toward the back garden.
The back entrance had fewer guards, but it led into the woods instead of a road. That meant wandering through the forest to reach the city.
Fewer guards meant they didn’t expect anyone to come or go through the woods.
“But I have no choice. I’m taking the forest.”
Using the gap during the guards’ shift change, Elysia darted toward the garden woods. In the dark night, it was easy to hide among the trees—though that also made the path harder to see.
“Everyone, I’m in the woods now. The problem is, I can’t see the road very well… let’s look for it together. I just need to find a way back to the city.”
The duke’s garden bordered the city, so it shouldn’t be too dangerous. With her high stats, she might get out in an hour or two.
That’s what she thought—until she went deeper into the forest.
Grrrrrr.
A low, threatening growl came from behind.
“…Huh?”
Elysia quickly turned around.
In the shadows, glowing eyes gleamed. Jet-black ears, sharp terrifying fangs. From its slightly open mouth rose red flames and acrid smoke.
It was a fearsome beast—clearly not a normal animal.
‘A Hellhound?’
As soon as Elysia recognized the monster, her brows furrowed. The chat picked up on it too.
Are you serious?!
Why is there a Hellhound here??
What’s a Hellhound?
It’s the endgame boss mob in Remegol…
The male leads struggle hard to beat it later on!
“What the heck? Why’s this thing here? Is this a bug?”
As Elysia stared in confusion, the Hellhound crouched, ready to pounce.
