Synopsis:
After being notified of her engagement’s cancellation by a cheating crown prince, she stabbed him—and in that moment realized she had been reborn as a villainess in a romance fantasy world.
If things continued as they were, execution was inevitable. Not wanting to die, she fled to the Duchy of Belmeyer, known as the “Devil’s Country.”
But this country? Far from being inhabited by devils, it was a harsh, almost barren land where six slightly abnormal non-human beings lived—and it was a miracle it hadn’t fallen yet!
“This won’t do.”
Her safety became tied to the duchy’s survival. Using magic, she renovated the crumbling ducal castle. She thought she was drifting far from the original story—but then:
“Did you really like the crown prince? Do you still? I wasn’t curious… but now I am.”
“Did you starve in the empire? You’re so thin. Eat it all yourself.”
“It’s my job to control this society. That’s why I hate variables… except for you.”
…Somehow, the humans here started caring for her. And even the previously cold duke’s attitude began to change:
“It doesn’t matter if you can’t forget that bastard Hilbarsia—just stay by my side.”
What is happening?
Everyone’s confused about the genre. All I wanted was just a healing story!
