Synopsis
The father of her unborn child lost his memory right before their wedding.
The moment Anais faced the cold gaze of the man who had once been so gentle, she sensed that everything had come to an end.
“Do you really not remember who I am?”
Their love had overcome a difference in status after much hardship.
If he no longer remembered her, Anais had no reason to remain here. But—
“I’ll get straight to the point. You were the one who used to prepare the medicine for my insomnia, weren’t you?”
Todd tossed a tea pouch that had clearly dwindled in quantity.
It wasn’t medicine—it was nothing more than a simple herbal tea she had given him long ago as a gift.
“This isn’t medicine.”
“Here’s my offer. Pack up and move into the estate. I’ll leave the position of my exclusive apothecary open for you.”
Anais stared silently at the arrogant Todd before answering:
“No, thank you.”
