Prologue
10 years ago.
[“The ‘Infinity Tower’ is being installed.”]
That message appeared before the eyes of everyone on Earth.
“W-What is this?”
“Am I seeing things…?”
A married couple sitting on the couch, watching TV, were startled.
Breaking news appeared on the screen—the towers had suddenly emerged.
Towers were being created at the center of every nation’s capital.
“Honey, this… this might be real.”
“Yeah… what in the world is happening?”
While the couple sat there, confused—
“I’m going to bed now~”
Their son, Lee Kang-han, who had just entered middle school, bowed sleepily to his parents.
“Already? It’s not even 8 yet.”
“Yeah… I feel really sleepy for some reason.”
“Kang-han, the news is saying towers just appeared all over the world! You’re not going to watch it?”
“Oh, I saw the message too… but I’m just so tired.”
“Alright then. Go get some sleep.”
After saying goodnight, Kang-han went into his room.
The next morning—
“Kang-han’s still not up?”
“He went to bed early yesterday… maybe he was tired.”
“Still, he has school. I’ll go wake him up.”
His mom nodded and walked into his room—
“KYAAA!”
She screamed.
“What happened?!”
Her husband ran to the room in a panic.
And on the bed—
Instead of their slim, skinny middle school son—
“…Who are you?”
A young man was lying there. He looked older, but… his face was very familiar.
“Haaah… that was a good sleep.”
The man sat up in bed and then—
“Huh? What the?”
Tap. Tap.
He touched his body and opened his eyes wide.
“Wh-What happened to my body?!”
“…Kang-han? Is that you?”
“Yes! It’s me!”
Wait… this man was their son?
‘He does look like him, but…’
‘Is he really Kang-han?’
The parents stared at each other in disbelief.
“What’s your birthday?”
“Your blood type?”
“What’s Mom’s birthday?”
They fired off questions—
“Uh… December 28th, but you always think it’s the 18th, so you gave me the wrong gift last time!”
“…It really is our son!”
It was a mistake only their real son would remember.
Once he answered, the couple had no choice but to believe this man was Kang-han.
But still—
“What in the world happened to you?!”
“I don’t know! I just fell asleep, and when I woke up…!”
Why did their skinny son suddenly turn into a muscular giant overnight?
That mystery… remained unsolved.
