Chapter 7 A New Record Written

When Dojun said he succeeded, the chat exploded.

WTF. Got goosebumps.
King-rank Dojun just said he cleared it!!
Is the rank 1 spot changing today!?
My body feels hot. Huff. Huff. Huff.

“I don’t have any special reason. I just…”

Dojun suddenly changed the way he was holding his dagger.
He lightly gripped the handle, placing his thumb gently on the back of it.

Then, he pointed the dagger straight ahead and said:

“I’ll show you with results.”

Damn… That’s so cool.
Where’s the military nerd? What’s he doing right now!!

┗ I’m here. That gave me chills. Dojun was using the Camouflage grip until now. But now he’s using the Saber grip.

The Camouflage grip he had been using before was a dagger-holding method for quick surprise attacks to kill an enemy instantly.

But the Saber grip was very different.

To keep it simple: The Saber grip gives the best balance when using a dagger.

Right as the military nerd finished speaking, the battle start sound was heard.

As soon as it started, Dojun dodged a flying ball and quickly ran toward the goblins.

“I don’t know if you all saw, but I figured out something fun during the last stage.”

Something fun?
Was there something like that?

Dojun got right up to the goblin but didn’t go for the neck this time—he went for its wrist.
Just like before, the goblin dropped its dagger.

But this time, the dagger didn’t fall to the ground.
It was now in Dojun’s hand.

“I realized I can steal this dagger.”

Now, Dojun had two daggers dancing in his hands.
As he moved, he kept talking.

“There are now 6 goblins instead of 4, but the strategy is the same as in Stage 13.
Just kill them one by one, timed with their respawn.”

But isn’t 6 goblins a bit too hard?
Yeah. With 4, he had extra time between kills. Now there’s no gap.
Then just do 1 kill per second.

Even for someone like Dojun, killing 1 goblin per second was nearly impossible.

But Dojun calmly kept dodging the flying balls and explained more.

Kim Woojin kept speaking.

“Team Leader, about the weak point.”

“Did you find something?”

“No. But if someone with that kind of monster physical ability says there’s a weak point, maybe…”

After thinking for a bit, Kim Woojin spoke with a complicated expression.

“Maybe… he figured out all of the system’s patterns.”

At those words, the room fell silent.

While people argued in the chat, an arrow flew toward Dojun.

But unlike the earlier stage, this time there were three goblin archers instead of one.

Also, the number of flying balls increased to 20.

While dodging the flying balls, Dojun spoke.

“The weak point is the goblin archers’ arrow path.”

At stage 13, Dojun had already figured out all the paths of the goblin archers’ arrows.

“The goblin archers are very accurate. The arrows always hit where they aim. And they always aim at my torso.”

Then Dojun kicked away a goblin that had just dropped its dagger.

“If I push it like this, the goblin archer can aim at me. Then the arrow will fly right at me.”

Just like he said, the goblin archer released the bowstring at that moment.

When everything happened just as he explained, the viewers laughed in disbelief.

As the arrow flew toward him, Dojun kept explaining.

“Like I said, the arrow will go exactly where I was standing. It takes about 1.8 seconds to reach me.”

As he spoke, he stepped slightly to the side.

“When I move sideways, a nearby goblin reacts and follows me.”

A viewer seemed to realize something and commented:

Right after, the goblin really did follow into the path of the arrow.

And of course, the goblin was shot in the head by its own team’s arrow and died instantly.

“Goblins are short, so the arrow hits their head, not the body. If you’re not strong enough to kill them directly, you can use the archers instead. Just repeat this and survive the time limit. If you know the path of the arrows, dodging the balls isn’t too hard as long as you focus.”

Dojun repeated the same moves again and again.

Every 2 seconds, he positioned the goblins and made them get hit by the archers’ arrows.

So without doing much, the goblins kept dying to friendly fire.

MouseSucker realized his mistake.

It wasn’t about the bet anymore.

MouseSucker calmed down and focused on Dojun again.

MouseSucker looked super happy, but Dojun didn’t look good.

Dojun, knowing this looked bad, quickly replied:

“Can we set up a time later? If I’m late, my boss will be mad.”

It wasn’t some cheap part-time gig. With college exams coming up, Dojun couldn’t afford to be late.

MouseSucker nodded helplessly.

“Okay. Thanks a lot today. You really saved me.”

“I had fun too. I’ll message you after work.”

Dojun bowed politely.

Then, with his mask back on, he disappeared quickly. Viewers all felt a bit sad.

MouseSucker quickly tried to wrap things up.

“Due to personal reasons, we had to let 1st-Rank-GOD go. But we’ll set up a proper time later for an interview. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments on my channel.”

And of course, he couldn’t forget the most important thing when so many people were watching.

After MouseSucker ended the stream, Dojun started to become a hot topic everywhere.
