Chapter 7 A New Record Written

When Dojun said he succeeded, the chat exploded.

  • WTF. Got goosebumps.

  • King-rank Dojun just said he cleared it!!

  • Is the rank 1 spot changing today!?

  • My body feels hot. Huff. Huff. Huff.

“I don’t have any special reason. I just…”

Dojun suddenly changed the way he was holding his dagger.
He lightly gripped the handle, placing his thumb gently on the back of it.

Then, he pointed the dagger straight ahead and said:

“I’ll show you with results.”

  • Damn… That’s so cool.

  • Where’s the military nerd? What’s he doing right now!!

┗ I’m here. That gave me chills. Dojun was using the Camouflage grip until now. But now he’s using the Saber grip.

The Camouflage grip he had been using before was a dagger-holding method for quick surprise attacks to kill an enemy instantly.

But the Saber grip was very different.

  • To keep it simple: The Saber grip gives the best balance when using a dagger.

Right as the military nerd finished speaking, the battle start sound was heard.

        1. Battle begins.

As soon as it started, Dojun dodged a flying ball and quickly ran toward the goblins.

“I don’t know if you all saw, but I figured out something fun during the last stage.”

  • Something fun?

  • Was there something like that?

Dojun got right up to the goblin but didn’t go for the neck this time—he went for its wrist.
Just like before, the goblin dropped its dagger.

But this time, the dagger didn’t fall to the ground.
It was now in Dojun’s hand.

“I realized I can steal this dagger.”

Now, Dojun had two daggers dancing in his hands.
As he moved, he kept talking.

“There are now 6 goblins instead of 4, but the strategy is the same as in Stage 13.
Just kill them one by one, timed with their respawn.”

  • But isn’t 6 goblins a bit too hard?

  • Yeah. With 4, he had extra time between kills. Now there’s no gap.

  • Then just do 1 kill per second.

┗ You think that’s easy? lol
┗┗ If you can’t do one-hit kills with perfect timing, it’s basically impossible.

Even for someone like Dojun, killing 1 goblin per second was nearly impossible.

But Dojun calmly kept dodging the flying balls and explained more.

“It’s a bit hard, but I’ll teach you the trick.”

  • There’s a trick?

  • Is he serious?

“I found a flaw in this game.”

That one sentence from Dojun made the whole chat go crazy.

The moment someone mentioned a “weak point,” the [Physical Class] team at TL Games went into chaos.

“A weak point? Was there ever one?”

At Team Leader Han Mujin’s words, everyone shook their heads.

“I think the same. Unless it’s a bug, [Physical Class] is a game that only needs real physical skill.”

But even so, they all felt uneasy.

“Assistant Manager Kim Woojin. Have you been watching that player?”

“Yes. I’ve been watching since the beginning.”

“What do you think?”

“He’s above Astra level.”

That one sentence surprised Han Mujin.

Kim Woojin kept speaking.

“He’s already broken all the previous records. His eye tracking, reaction time, and decision-making are close to the limits of what a human can do.”

“He’s a monster.”

Kim Woojin hesitated, then spoke again.

“Team Leader, about the weak point.”

“Did you find something?”

“No. But if someone with that kind of monster physical ability says there’s a weak point, maybe…”

“Maybe?”

After thinking for a bit, Kim Woojin spoke with a complicated expression.

“Maybe… he figured out all of the system’s patterns.”

At those words, the room fell silent.

Chat Comments:

  • What’s the weak point in this game?

  • I’m dying to know, hurry up!!

  • Stop rushing! The King-Rank guy can’t even see this chat!

While people argued in the chat, an arrow flew toward Dojun.

But unlike the earlier stage, this time there were three goblin archers instead of one.

Also, the number of flying balls increased to 20.

While dodging the flying balls, Dojun spoke.

“The weak point is the goblin archers’ arrow path.”

At stage 13, Dojun had already figured out all the paths of the goblin archers’ arrows.

“The goblin archers are very accurate. The arrows always hit where they aim. And they always aim at my torso.”

Then Dojun kicked away a goblin that had just dropped its dagger.

“If I push it like this, the goblin archer can aim at me. Then the arrow will fly right at me.”

Just like he said, the goblin archer released the bowstring at that moment.

When everything happened just as he explained, the viewers laughed in disbelief.

  • Is he a god or something!?

  • Is he predicting every single attack??

As the arrow flew toward him, Dojun kept explaining.

“Like I said, the arrow will go exactly where I was standing. It takes about 1.8 seconds to reach me.”

As he spoke, he stepped slightly to the side.

“When I move sideways, a nearby goblin reacts and follows me.”

A viewer seemed to realize something and commented:

  • Is he luring the goblin into the arrow’s path?? Dang…

Right after, the goblin really did follow into the path of the arrow.

And of course, the goblin was shot in the head by its own team’s arrow and died instantly.

“Goblins are short, so the arrow hits their head, not the body. If you’re not strong enough to kill them directly, you can use the archers instead. Just repeat this and survive the time limit. If you know the path of the arrows, dodging the balls isn’t too hard as long as you focus.”

Dojun repeated the same moves again and again.

Every 2 seconds, he positioned the goblins and made them get hit by the archers’ arrows.

So without doing much, the goblins kept dying to friendly fire.

  • Wait… he might actually pull this off?
┗ Oh here we go again
┗┗ Lol he says it’s easy but none of this is something we can actually do

  • It’s definitely easier than a one-shot kill method, but… getting to stage 13 is already impossible lol

┗ Dodging 20 balls is not easy…
┗┗ How do you even fight 6 goblins at once with normal reflexes…

┗┗┗ That’s not the point—LOOK AT THE TIMER!!

Dojun kept doing the same move while surviving, and soon 1 minute and 30 seconds passed.

  • OMG he secured 2nd place!

  • 2nd? At this rate…

His movements were so calm.

His face showed zero stress.

Everyone held their breath while watching the timer.

2 minutes.

2 minutes 10 seconds.

2 minutes 20 seconds…

Nobody said it, but they all knew.

The long-standing record was about to fall.

  • 2 minutes 30 seconds!!!!!

  • He broke Lee Shinhyuk’s record!!!!

  • Holy crap! What the heck!!

  • A newbie just beat a 10-year-old record on his first try…

The chat exploded as a new legend was born. But the happiest person was MouseSucker.

“King-Rank-GOD!!!!!”

Other streamers who bet on MouseSucker also cheered loudly in real time.

MouseSucker tried to keep talking, but the chat exploded again:

  • Shut up already!!

  • Be quiet! He’s still in Stage 14!!

  • Turn off your mic, you pig!!

  • He has to last 240 seconds!

MouseSucker realized his mistake.

It wasn’t about the bet anymore.

This was now a historic moment—footage of the new #1 in [Physical Class].

‘My job now is to show 1st-Rank-GOD’s play without interruption.’

MouseSucker calmed down and focused on Dojun again.

3 minutes.

3 minutes 30 seconds.

Then, when it reached 4 minutes, the balls and goblins all disappeared.

Stage 14 was over.

  • CLASS 14 completed.

  • Next is the final stage.

  • Would you like to continue?

“No.”

When Dojun answered, the game paused for a moment.

  • Sucker’s underdog bet just paid off!!!

  • Sucker just won 100 million won!!!

  • Go check out Kobong’s stream. He’s just sitting there shocked LOL

  • Who said 1st-Rank-GOD was just a lucky noob? Show yourself!

┗ BREAKING: That “scrap of paper” turned out to be a winning lottery ticket worth 100 million won…

  • Who said 1st-Rank-GOD wouldn’t even reach stage 6?

┗ BREAKING: It’s not stage 6 he can’t reach. It’s stage 16…

┗┗ Of course, stage 15 is the last one you idiot lol

Then MouseSucker hugged Dojun tightly.

“You lucky charm!!!”

MouseSucker looked super happy, but Dojun didn’t look good.

MouseSucker noticed and asked with a serious face:

“What’s wrong? Are you okay?”

  • Did he pass out?

  • Maybe he used all his focus and is exhausted?

“Retire” (in VR games): a state of extreme exhaustion from full concentration.

But Dojun’s answer surprised everyone.

“I have to go to work now.”

“Huh… what?”

MouseSucker asked again, but Dojun quickly pressed the logout button and disappeared.

  • LOL

  • His face looked bad because he’s late for work hahaha

  • He broke the record, but now his boss will break him

Dojun stepped out of the capsule, looked at the clock, and quickly approached MouseSucker.

“I’m really in a rush. I’ll take the prize money later. Can you just give me your number?”

“That’s fine, but… you sure you can’t say just a few words before you go?”

  • Sucker’s panicking lol

  • He’s running before it gets awkward huh?

  • I wanted an interview though 🙁

Dojun, knowing this looked bad, quickly replied:

“Can we set up a time later? If I’m late, my boss will be mad.”

It wasn’t some cheap part-time gig. With college exams coming up, Dojun couldn’t afford to be late.

MouseSucker nodded helplessly.

“Okay. Thanks a lot today. You really saved me.”

“I had fun too. I’ll message you after work.”

Dojun bowed politely.

Then, with his mask back on, he disappeared quickly. Viewers all felt a bit sad.

MouseSucker quickly tried to wrap things up.

“Due to personal reasons, we had to let 1st-Rank-GOD go. But we’ll set up a proper time later for an interview. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments on my channel.”

And of course, he couldn’t forget the most important thing when so many people were watching.

“Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe, and turn on notifications if you want to see 1st-Rank-GOD’s next video. See you next time!”

After MouseSucker ended the stream, Dojun started to become a hot topic everywhere.

“Wow, the record really got broken. And he even revealed the game pattern…”

Nobody could say anything after Team Leader Han Mujin spoke.

“Kim Woojin.”

“Yes?”

“A lot of people saw this stream. Don’t you think many will come back to try [Physical Class] again?”

“They probably will.”

“If a physically gifted player returns, using those tips and knowing the system’s weak points… what do you think will happen?”

The answer was obvious.

The rankings would collapse.

The community would go crazy.

Everyone’s face turned pale as they realized it.

“Change the goblins and archers to have random patterns. Check everything against the video. Until that’s done, we’ll temporarily shut down [Physical Class]. It has to be finished ASAP.”

The meaning was clear:

“We’ve had it easy so far. Time to earn our paychecks. No one leaves until the job’s done.”

Everyone groaned as they started working.
