~Prologue~
Ruby Balfur, the head maid of the Duke of Titanoa’s household.
She was chosen at the age of fifteen to be the personal maid and playmate of Airevet Titanoa, the Duke’s only child.

With her cotton candy-like light pink hair, sparkling violet eyes brighter than embroidered jewels, and an innocent smile like sunshine—Even though Airevet was only twelve, she acted mature and thoughtful.
That’s when Ruby decided she would serve her lady for life.
But soon after, Airevet suddenly fell into a coma from an unknown illness.
For over ten long years, she remained unconscious, lying in bed.
Then one day, as spring began to settle over Arendel, Airevet opened her eyes.
“Whoa… no way.”
That was the first thing she said in ten years, blinking her same shiny violet eyes, just like when she was a child.
Everyone in the Titanoa mansion cried tears of joy at her recovery.
Even Duke Lloyd Titanoa, who hadn’t smiled or cried in over ten years, secretly shed tears while holding the portrait of his late wife.
Airevet had lost all her memories due to the long coma, but no one cared about that.
What mattered was—Airevet Titanoa had woken up. She could walk, eat, talk, and laugh again.
Every little moment felt like a miracle.
Airevet, full of energy as if to make up for the lost years, brought joy to everyone around her.
“Wow, Ruby! Is this a real jewel?”
“Of course, my lady. The Duke bought it just for you.”
“Ruby, are we rich?”
“We sure are! The Titanoa territory is one of the richest in the Diorneta Empire.”
“Then… can I just live life chilling and doing nothing?”
“Uh… I guess so?”
“Sweet! That’s awesome!”
Her cheerful attitude was a bit… off, but seeing her happy smile, Ruby felt that was all that mattered.
At least… until that day.
