Hey, do you know why people call the knee “hiza‑kozō”—literally “knee kid”?
When I first heard this, I was like, no way, that’s stupid, and totally laughed it off.
But a long time ago, there was this guy who fell while running, and the skin on his knee peeled back with a flap.
And when he looked at the flesh underneath…
there was a little kid’s face there.
And that kid said,
“Ahhh… so you finally found me.”
Crazy, right?
Like, there’s no way that’s true.
You think it’s a lie too, right? Right!?
I knew it—of course it’s impossible. Hahaha…
Oh—totally changing the subject, but ever since you hurt your knee the other day,
I feel like your personality’s changed a bit…
