The Fake Young Lady of the Brium Family

Synopsis

All I want is to survive.

One rainy evening, Rebecca wandered the streets trying to save her sick younger sibling, only to be chased away by a priest for being of lowly, impoverished origins. By chance, she meets Isabella on the street, who extends a helping hand to her.

For a brief moment, Rebecca is immersed in the joy of saving her sibling. But it doesn’t last long. Mysterious men of unknown origin appear, kill Isabella, and even threaten Rebecca’s life.

In the face of her desperate desire to survive, an unknown entity appears before Rebecca and offers her a single proposal:

“The law… of God?”

[The time limit is just one year. If you swear an oath of ‘divine vengeance’ to God on behalf of the deceased Isabella and bring despair and ruin upon your enemies so that they can never rise again, you will be granted one wish.]

Presented with this one and only chance, Rebecca answers,
“I will accept.”

Rebecca swears to God that, as Isabella, she will bring destruction upon those who drove her friend to death.
