The gates of Wayne Biterad’s mansion, a man with only a short time left to live, were always closed.
It was a place no one could easily enter or leave. But one day, someone boldly came and asked to live there.
“You’ve been neglecting the garden because everything you touch burns, right? I’ll make the flowers bloom for you instead.”
That person was Valley Friatin.
Wayne was taken aback by her bold request at first, but before he knew it, her bright and cheerful nature convinced him. He not only gave her a room but made her part of the household.
“You barged in on your own, and now you suddenly want to leave?”
“…You’re the one who said I could leave if I wasn’t helpful.”
“There are only two ways for you to leave.”
Wayne stepped closer, as if he was about to kiss her, trapping her against the wall.
“Either you kill me with your own hands… or you wait until I die.”
