His dark brown eyes, hidden in shadow, gleamed coldly as he stared at her like prey that had fallen from the sky.
Meeting those dangerous eyes, Shen Yue’s breath caught. Her abdomen tightened in waves, and her body released a special scent that only appeared when females were in labor or heat.
As the man smelled it, the cold light in his eyes softened.
Every pore in his body seemed soothed by the scent from this ugly female. His heart began to race uncontrollably, and his entire body grew hot.
